Datacenter proxies
A fresh IP
for every connection.
Rotating US datacenter proxies
A fresh US datacenter IP for every new connection, billed by the GB from your existing PrivateByte balance. Most scrapers open one per request. Built for high-volume work on sites that don’t screen datacenter traffic.
$0.75/GB · US exits · HTTP/HTTPS and SOCKS5 · credit never expires
How it works
Simple on purpose.
One tier, one rate, no session logic. Open a connection and the exit changes.
A new IP per connection
Each new connection leaves from a different US datacenter address. Most clients open one per request. Reuse a connection and you keep its address until it closes.
Same balance, same credentials
Switch to it by changing the password to datacenter. Usage is deducted at $0.75/GB from the balance you already hold.
Compatible by design
HTTP, HTTPS and SOCKS5 TCP on the same endpoints as every other tier. SOCKS5 does not carry UDP.
Connect
One line to try it.
Replace YOUR_KEY with the API key in your dashboard. The password picks the tier.
curl --proxy 'http://YOUR_KEY:[email protected]:3128' https://api.ipify.org # run it again: the address changes # country is US only during the beta, so these are the same: # datacenter # datacenter_country-US
Is it the right tier?
Honest about what it is.
Datacenter addresses are fast and cheap. They’re also easier for strict sites to recognise.
Good for
High-volume collection from sites that allow datacenter traffic. Bulk API calls and availability checks from a US address. Anything where price per GB matters more than IP reputation.
Choose another tier when
The target screens datacenter IPs: use CleanProxy. You need the same IP across steps: use Standard or Sticky Clean. You need a mobile connection: use Mobile.
Beta limits
US exits only. No sessions, and no state, city, ZIP or ASN targeting. No UDP. Traffic in both directions plus a small per-connection overhead is metered.
Answers
A few things worth knowing.
Which countries are available?+
US exits only during the beta. Other tiers cover more countries; see the full tier list.
How is it billed?+
Per GB at $0.75/GB, from the same proxy balance as every other tier. Traffic in both directions plus a small per-connection overhead is metered. Proxy credit never expires.
Can I keep the same IP between requests?+
The exit changes whenever a new connection opens. Reuse a connection (a keep-alive, a session in your client, an open browser tab) and you keep one address until it closes. Send Connection: close, or open a new browser context, to get a new one. For a steady address across steps, use a timed-session tier such as Standard.
Will every website accept it?+
No. Datacenter IPs are easier for strict sites to spot, and no tier guarantees acceptance by a particular website. For stricter targets, choose a screened residential tier.
Try it on a small balance.
Switch back any time.
Datacenter Rotating uses the same balance and credentials as every other tier. Change the password to datacenter and send a request.
