What will it cost?
Proxy cost calculator
Enter your requests and response size. The calculator adds the connection overhead we measured, then prices the data on every tier. Billing counts bytes in both directions.

How it works
Why small requests cost more than they look.
The data you ask for is only part of what crosses the wire.
New HTTPS connection
About 4.4 KB of setup before your first byte, mostly the encryption handshake. It repeats every time a new connection opens.
Reused connection
About 0.2 KB per request after the first. If you do not need a new IP each time, reusing connections cuts small-request bills about twenty times.
Large responses
For big pages the page itself is the cost. Overhead was about 1% on a 1 MiB response.
Answers
A few things worth knowing.
What does the proxy count?+
Traffic in both directions plus a small per-connection overhead. Read the metering guide before estimating a large job.
Where do the overhead numbers come from?+
We measured four request patterns through our own proxy on 6 November 2026 and read the bytes it counted. A new HTTPS connection counted about 4,399 bytes for a 13 byte response, a reused connection about 191, and plain HTTP about 186. A 1 MiB response added about 1%.
Does a new IP cost extra?+
No. Tiers rotate the exit address when a connection opens, and you pay per GB either way. New connections cost more bytes than reused ones, so a new IP per request costs more on small responses.
Which tier should I pick?+
Datacenter Rotating is the lowest rate and suits high-volume work on tolerant sites. Residential tiers cost more and are blocked less. See the tier list.
Know the number.
Then pick the tier.
Proxy credit never expires, and every tier uses the same balance and credentials.
