PrivateByte is an independent hosting provider operating its own hardware on its own network. We run virtual private servers and residential and mobile proxies from facilities in the United States and Europe, with hosting for AI agents coming next.
We buy and run the servers ourselves rather than reselling capacity from a larger provider, and we route traffic over our own address space under our own ASN. That keeps the cost structure simple and means faults are ours to fix rather than ours to report.
We are a small team running a focused platform rather than a global one with a large managed-services catalogue. For customers who want a fast, unmetered server with full root access, that suits well. For those who need an extensive managed product range or a global anycast edge, a hyperscaler is the better fit.
